In 2009 BMW released the X5 xDrive30i to the truck-buying market. The X5 came in three configurations: xDrive30i, xDrive48i, and xDrive35d. The xDrive30i configuration is powered by the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, which makes 23 highway miles and 17 city. The X5 competes in the Sport Utility market segment, in direct competition with Nissan.
There have been several award-winning trucks from BMW over the years, including the BMW X3 of 2009. There are one trim levels to the X3, including xDrive30i. The xDrive30i version is one of the more popular options, outselling other configurations. Like in 2008 the popular 3.0 liter has made this a popular choice for sport utility buyers nationwide.
