The restyled X3 2.5i is equipped with a 2.5-liter six-cylinder engine that utilizes 24 valves. The engine is mated to a ZF six-speed transmission. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 2003 version.
The BMW X3 is a 4-door truck available at your BMW dealer. The X3 came in one configurations: 3.0si and 3.0i. The 3.0si configuration is powered by the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, which makes 23 - 24 highway miles and 16 - 17 city. The X3 competes in the Sport Utility market segment, in direct competition with Kia.
A high point in the sport utility market is the BMW X3. In 2006 BMW rolled out an upgraded version of the X3 with one versions: 3.0i and 2.5i.
