BMW X5

In 2005 BMW released the X5 4.4i to the truck-buying market. The X5 came in three configurations: 4.4i, 4.8is, and 3.0i. The 4.4i configuration is powered by the 4.4-liter eight-cylinder engine, which makes 21 highway miles and 16 city. The X5 competes in the Sport Utility market segment, in direct competition with Toyota.

The 4.4i version is one of the more popular options, outselling other configurations. Like in 2002 the popular 4.4 liter has made this a popular choice for sport utility buyers across the country.
