The 2003 RS6 is an important vehicle to Audi for the sedan market segment. The Base is a member of a series of one trim levels for the RS6 which include Base. The four-door car with its all-wheel drive is positioned to aggressively fill this niche for Audi. There is strong competition from vehicles from Lexus.
One of the staples of the Sedan segment is the Audi S4. In the previous model year debuted a brand new version of the S4 with one versions: Base.
