A high point in the coupe market is the BMW Z3. In 2000 BMW released an upgraded version of the Z3 with four versions: Coupe, M Coupe, and M Roadster. Sales for the Z3, especially the Z3 Coupe, were brisk during 2000 and 2001. The improved reliability and the sporty styling were responsible for the sales boost.
There have been several award-winning cars from Audi over the years, including the Audi S4 of 2000. There are one trim levels to the S4, including Base. The Base version is one of the more popular options, outselling other configurations. Like in 1999 the popular 2.7 liter has made this a popular choice for sedan buyers nationwide.
The restyled X5 4.4i is equipped with a BMW 4.4-liter 8-cylinder engine that utilizes a total of 32 valves. The engine is paired with a ZF 5-speed transmission. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for BMW.
A lot has been said about the Audi TT Quattro for 2000. As Audi's entry in the coupe market the TT Quattro (and in this case specically the Base version) has maintained a solid reputation. The 2-door TT Quattro is especially appealing to wide market segment, making it a perfect car to help Audi as a brand in general.
