The restyled 928 GTS is equipped with a 5.4-liter eight-cylinder engine that utilizes 32 valves. The engine is mated to a Mercedes-Benz four-speed transaxle. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 1994 version.

Not Your Father’s 928 – The 1991 Porsche 928 GT

In 1991 Porsche released the 928 GT to the car-buying market. The 928 came in two configurations: Base and GT. The GT configuration is powered by the 5.0-liter eight-cylinder engine, which makes 19 highway miles and 13 city. The 928 competes in the Coupe market segment, in direct competition with Honda.
