Audi RS4 Engine Specs: The RS4 Base comes outfitted with a 4.2 liter, 8-cylinder motor that uses 32 valves. The engine, manufactured by Volkswagen, is mated to a six-speed transaxle by Volkswagen. This arrangement has demonstrated to be an effective style for Audi.

There are several reasons why the Audi RS4 Base sold well in 2008. Mainly the increase in availability and a marked improvement in quality meant the buying public was more apt to choose a Audi, specifically a RS4.
