A Better 1994′s Model: The 1995 Audi S6 Base

There's been a lot of talk about the Audi S6 for 1995. As a leading car in the sedan market the S6 (and in this case specically the Base version) has maintained a high standard. The 4-door S6 is especially appealing to broad audience, making it a perfect car to help Audi as a brand in general.

1995 Audi S6 Base Specs

Audi S6 Engine Specs: The S6 Base comes outfitted with a 2.2 liter, 5-cylinder motor that uses 20 valves. The engine, manufactured by Audi, is mated to a five-speed transaxle by Volkswagen. This arrangement has demonstrated to be an effective style for Audi.

The S6 uses power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. Steering is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The car uses coil and coil springs front and rear respectively.

MPG Ratings

The S6 Base received a miles-per-gallon rating of eighteen in-city driving and twenty three when it came to highway driving. Being a gas-powered non-hybrid car, this was within normal parameters.

In 1994 and 1995 the S6 Base was availble in the exterior colors of several colors.

There are several reasons why the Audi S6 Base sold well in 1995. Mainly the increase in availability and a marked improvement in quality meant the buying public was more apt to choose a Audi, specifically a S6.
